ANOVA HW conclusions:

October 28, 2009

I would like for everyone to pick one conclusion they feel confident about and one conclusion they do not feel confident about from our HW assignments this week and share them here so that we can all learn and grow together. If you like you my wait until after you exam them in SPSS and work from the output.

Be sure that you label what problem you are working from so that we know what you are talking about ;-)

Not all levels of HS are the same with regards to dreams recalled, F(2,21)=6.477 p<.05. The only significant difference was between low and high susceptibility groups on dreams remembered, according to the LSD test, p<.05.

pg.276 #3, One-Way ANOVA: There is at least one significant difference in object permanence abilities between the different age groups, F(2,27)= 6.415, p=.005. There are only significant differences in object permanence abilities between 9 and 15 months and 12 and 15 months according to the LSD test, p<.05.

#1HW, One-Way ANOVA: At least one of the socioeconomic classes had an effect on the people of that classes’ attitudes toward fate, F(2,18)= 4.9820, p=.019. There is a significant difference in attitudes toward fate between the upper and lower socioeconomic classes according to the LSD test, p<.05. However, there are not significant differences between lower and middle classes or middle and upper classes .
