I have a feeling there will be a great deal of separation between those that have been attending class and working toward understanding and those that have not this go around. Hope to see everyone today and tomorrow. I want everyone to do well!
t-test research project

I’m really disappointed in the participation in the t-test research project. Also disconcerting is the number of no shows.
This is just more information for my forming a mental representation of your character. It seems to be explaining a lot… along with your not attending class, not participating when you come to class, and your not doing your homework.
This is not the behavior of a scientist in training.

No class today. As many of you know I had a surprise office flood. It stinks bad, but never fear your exams stayed dry because I placed them up high in a safe location. Needless to say, with the moving and drying out and such I am running behind. I’m going to try and catch up this afternoon.
GO ahead and read the next 2 chapters on ANOVA (three if you want to knock regression out too). If you don’t feel confident about t-tests you really need to go back and do more work there. ANOVA is simply adding a third (or fourth or fifth or …) group to the context of the problems.
Again, keep focusing on selecting the correct test for your question and design and interpreting the data.
